WELCOME TO THONES VAL-SULENS,
In Haute Savoie, a few kilometers from Lake Annecy and the Aravis mountains, the valley of Thônes-Val Sulens is in the heart of a beautiful mountain area, having kept its traditions, its rural activities and its historic buildings .The charismatic small market town of Thônes with its central domed bell tower, is the nerve center of the valley, and offers a wide variety of activities throughout the year ( cultural and sport, gastronomic and touristic ). Val Sulens and its three mountain villages ( Le Bouchet-Mont Charvin, Les Clefs and Serraval ) is an ideal setting in which to lose yourself. Its natural and rural characteristics are reflected in its quality of life and its beauty.In winter there are numerous possibilities for making the most of the snow and the mountains. Val Sulens and its natural countryside offers you the opportunity to go walking on snow shoes and pursue other Nordic activities. Down hill skiing can also be practised at La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand, Manigod and Saint Jean de Sixt, Thône's neighbouring ski stations.
